VPS questions

When should I choose a VPS over hosting?

When your site needs guaranteed resources, software not available on shared hosting (Docker, Redis, specific versions), or when you manage many client accounts with WHM.

Can I add resources later?

Yes. Upgrading takes a few minutes and needs a reboot. You keep the IP and data.

Do snapshots replace a backup?

Not entirely. A snapshot is a disk image on the same infrastructure; useful to roll back a failed update. A backup server keeps copies elsewhere with longer history.
